About This Experience
E-foiling is one of the most exciting water sports in the world — and Barcelona's warm, calm Mediterranean waters make it the perfect place to learn. An electric hydrofoil board (e-foil) uses a silent electric motor and a hydrofoil wing beneath the board to lift you above the surface of the water. The sensation is unlike anything else: gliding silently two feet above the ocean, completely in control. At Nautiq Barcelona, our e-foil sessions are led by certified instructors who will take you from total beginner to confidently riding above the water in just one hour. No previous surfing or water sports experience is necessary — most people are up and gliding within 20–30 minutes. Sessions take place at Barcelona Beach, close to Port Olímpic, in a safe, shallow area away from boat traffic. All equipment, a safety vest, and the full instructor session are included in the price.

Do I need to know how to surf or paddleboard?
No prior experience is needed. Our certified instructors teach you everything from scratch. Most beginners are riding above the water within 20–30 minutes.
What is the minimum age for e-foiling?
Participants must be at least 15 years old. Minors between 15–17 must have parental consent. There is no upper age limit as long as you're in good health.
What do I need to bring?
Just bring swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen. We provide all equipment including the e-foil board, wetsuit (if needed), safety vest, and helmet.
Is e-foiling dangerous?
E-foiling is very safe when practiced with a certified instructor. Sessions take place in calm, shallow water away from boat traffic. All participants wear safety vests and helmets, and the boards have foam-padded edges.
